Caroline Wexler (Kat Dennings) are facing the nightmare of a young man: his father's widow moved to a small town, a city with a major tourist attraction is the fire industry, which seem to burn forever. All children under the age of nineteen permanently stoned. Finding new ways to get high is an important hobby for most of her classmates, including Thurston poor (Reece Thompson) who falls for Caroline, although he was more interested in someone better. And then there is a small weakness of a villain in the surrounding environment.
